BSc Anesthesia
BSc Anesthesia (Bachelor of science in Anesthesia)
This course includes the theoretical and practical applications of administration of anesthesia to patients before, during and after surgical procedures. Candidates are also educated and made aware about the ideal anesthesia agents, equipment, preparation, techniques and dosage for patients according to their medical conditions. They are trained to administer and monitor anesthesia to patients under the supervision of doctors, nurses and trained medical personnel. The fundamentals of operation theatres, emergency wards and intensive care units are also emphasized during the course.
