BSc Data Science (Bachelor of Data Science)
The B.Sc Data Science programme prepares students with interdisciplinary subjects that are related to computer applications. The students will be learning about the basic concepts of statistics, data analysis, machine learning and other related subjects. The B.Sc Data Science students will be learning the techniques to solve the problems and phenomena using large datasets.
The main aim of B.Sc data science is to expose the students to broad areas and subjects of applied statistics, data mining, predictive, modelling, big data analytics, machine learning, data visualization across various sectors. The B.Sc Data Science students will be learning to apply the aspects of data and analytics across sectors like business, marketing, supply chain, manufacturing, operations, human resources, genomics, healthcare, banking etc.
The B.Sc Data Science trains the students to become skilled agile professionals that have the competence to understand, collect, extract, analyse the data and solve the problems through real-time data.
