Perfusion Technology is the study of the physiology of the lungs and supporting respiratory organs of the human body. It also involves the in-depth study of designs and strategies of cardiac and pulmonary surgical procedures, equipment used to support the lungs and the heart during surgical procedures, constant monitoring of blood flow, and operation of life support machines. The candidates are provided with a thorough understanding of the respiratory and circulatory system to counter highly stressful situations.
